• On the day of your exam, bring your glasses or have your contacts if you wear them. There are minimum requirements for vision. THE MEDICAL EXAMINER WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DISQUALIFY A DRIVER IF THEY DO NOT PASS THE HEARING TEST!
• If you need to have medical clearance, make sure you have seen your provider before you go. Print out and use the medical clearance letter for your provider. If you have met all of the requirements on the clearance letter including any waiting periods or any required tests, all the provider must do is sign and you are ready to go! • If you needed medical testing, you should bring the results of the testing to the medical examiner. If you use the MEDICAL CLEARANCE LETTER it has all the information that you need. Just have your treating provider sign it and bring it to your exam.
